Naqaa going international!

2 of Naqaa founding members had the honor to be invited to be part of the Presidential Summit of Entrepreneurship held last week in Washington DC and to be part of the Earth Day Event “The Climate Rally”ย  on the 25th of April.

This rally is considered the biggest one on the Climate Change movement history, over 10.000 have attended it from around the world all for one goal.ย  The goal is to demand tough, effective climate legislation and a swift transition away from 19th century energy sources.

They are all coming together to move beyond education; to demand change. With the aim that Humanity must swiftly abandon dirty energy sources and switch to safe, clean, decentralized, renewable energy sources like solar, wind, and geothermal.

The Rally featured many Climate scientists, Business owners , Cultural leaders, Top business executives, Progressive activists, Climate policy gurus , Spiritual leaders and Environmentalists

In between the speakers some of the most committed artists in the world have performed, including Sting, John Legend, The Roots, Willie Colon, Passion Pit, Bob Weir, Jimmy Cliff, Joss Stone, Booker T, The Honor Society, Mavis Staples …

Naqaa Environmental Enterprise team had the honor to be part of such an international event to showcase our efforts in the Kingdom. Enjoy the Pictures!

    Dr. Charles,
The experience was amazing and as you said the amount of energy in that huge gathering is incredible. Unfortunately, we had to leave just before Sting starts singing:(
