The OIC Going Green with Naqaa!

The first of September 2010, marked the official signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the OIC “Organization of The Islamic Conference” and Naqa’a Environmental Enterprise for a new project under the title “OIC Going Green”. According to the Memorandum of Understanding, Naqa’a will implement green practices in the organization starting with recycling its paper waste and to include other green practices at later stages. His Excellency Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, The Secretary General of the OIC expressed his appreciation for such an initiative during his opening speech in that occasion. Attended the event as well many Assistants Secretary Generals, Department Directors and Ambassadors.

    I am really impressed with your good progress. Think how far you’ve come since we first spoke several years ago. It’s impressive and I know this is just the beginning as so much work still needs to be done.
