Co-Founder Muna Alamer discusses entrepreneurial challenges in IDB’s first Youth & Development Seminar



As part of The 37th Annual Meeting of The Islamic Development Bank Group, Naqaa Co-Founder Muna Alamer was invited to speak at the Seminar On Youth and Development in The IDB Member Countries.  The meeting held in Khartoum, Sudan discussed the opportunities and challenges facing Muslim youth in the Islamic world from the perspective of youth representatives from several countries.

Other than highlighting the importance of the role Naqaa & similar organizations does in promoting business sustainability, Alamer highlighted the obstacles that can be faced by any startup businesses reflecting from her own experience in building the enterprise. 

The seminar was held for the first time and is planned to be a continuous initiative to reflect the IDB’s emphasis on the importance of youth entrepreneurship as a major gateway in solving unemployment.
