Naqaa in The 4th International Conference on Sustainable Development 2016, Rome, Italy

Naqaa Sustainability Solutions participated at the 4th International Conference on Sustainable Development (ICSD) 2016 that was organized by the European Center of Sustainable Development, at the Roma Eventi- Fontana di Trevi, Piazza della Pilotta, 4 Rome, Italy from: Friday 16 to Saturday 17 September, 2016.

The 4th ICSD2016 was great opportunity to present and discuss Naqaa’s experience in creating sustainable and successful approach to close the existing gap, and how Naqaa assists organizations and community to implement recycling projects in Saudi Arabia since the initiative was launched in 2011. The conference was attended and presented by Mouna Eusman, Co-founder Naqaa. The 2016 Conference provided a forum for the sharing of ideas, presentation of research findings, and discussion of professional issues relevant to Sustainability Science.

The general aim of the conference is to promote international collaboration in sustainability science and related disciplines. The Conference theme is creating a unified foundation for the Sustainable Development: research, practice and education. This theme emphasizes the strong foundation that is provided by using research to inform our everyday practices, policies, and research approaches.

The Conference topics are distributed in the range of the following tracks within the ICSD 2016 program: 1. Economic Sustainability: 2. Environmental Sustainability: 3. Socio-Cultural Sustainability

Naqaa presented paper research under the environmental sustainability track.  And it was reviewed by members of the ICSD 2016 Steering Committee for rating of abstract quality and presentation content. Therefore, as selected paper was also published at the European Journal of Sustainable Development.

We would like to thank the scientific committee and the organizers for organizing and giving us the opportunity to showcase and disseminate our local professional practice in the field of environmental sustainability in Saudi Arabia.
